I have some old paint. How can I get rid of it?
A lot of the paint that is used by area residents is latex, which is water based. If you are unable to give it to someone else to use, you can leave the lid off and dry it out. Once it's dry, dispose of it with your regular trash. Kitty litter will help dry it out, also. Oil based paint needs to be taken to our Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Day in September.
