Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cass County Recycling District has been exploring different ways to provide educational services to it's residents. We can still do in-person education with few attendees and follow all safety protocols or we can meet virtually via Zoom allowing more people to learn about any of the topics below.
The purpose of education is not knowledge but action. Education is learning what you didn't even know you didn't know. We want to promote recycling to all ages and make them aware of the consequences and environmental impacts.

The Cass County Recycling District’s director often makes recycling presentations to classrooms, civic clubs and organizations, or governmental meetings to advocate environmental stewardship to the public. This is a free service and is available throughout the District.

Topics include:

Recycling Basics - 101 - What goes in the bin?
Recycle Right - Proper disposal to reduce contamination
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)
E-Waste recycling and other commodities
