Keep in mind when you recycle items:

All material should be loose. Do not drop off your recycling in plastic bags. If you collect your recyclables from home in bags, please empty the contents of the bag into the bin. Single use plastic bags are not accepted for recycling in the county bins. Stretchy, single use plastic bags (trash bags, grocery bags, toilet paper/paper towel wrapping, bread bags) can be recycled at Wal-Mart or Martin's grocery store.

To save space in the bins, please break down all cardboard boxes and do not leave material on the ground.

Regular trash does not belong in or near the recycling bin. If you have furniture, garbage, or large items, please call the District for proper disposal.

What can be placed in the bins?
